The other Book of Sand albums are enjoyable and strange, but this thing is a riff machine! Layers of unusual instrumentation add texture and set the project apart, but dang. Hope he makes at least one more album like this before calling it a day. Old Leech
Tchornobog is without a doubt one of the best records of the decade.
It goes beyond the outdated concept of ''genres'' to create something very much of its own. To think this is the most honest artistic expression of ONE single person is even more impressive.
It's one long journey, but a very worthwhile one. The songs all mesh perfectly into one relentless masterpiece that traps you in its atmosphere, without escape.

I don't support deathcamps for anyone... however, if anyone were to deserve it, it'd be the neo-nazi conservative weirdos this band is parodying. This isn't a day-to-day listen for me, but I'll always support a big middle finger directed towards nazis. xCHICKEN SANDWICHx
